UL Certified for US and Canada, the type IC downlights are suitable for direct contact with air-permeable insulation. However, they are not recommended for use in direct contact with spray foam insulation; reference should be made to NEMA LSD57-2013 for guidance. These fixtures are wet location listed and provide IP55 ingress protection. Compliant with ASTM-E283 for air-tightness, they can be installed in clothes closets when the NEC 410.16 spacing requirements are met. The EMI/RFI emissions of these fixtures adhere to the FCC 47CFR Part 15 consumer limits. Furthermore, they contain no mercury or lead and are RoHS compliant.

Photometric testing has been conducted in accordance with IES LM79-08, and lumen maintenance projections follow IES LM-80-08 and TM-21-11. These Halo Canless Recessed Lighting fixtures can be used to meet the State of California Title 24 high efficacy LED compliance under JA8, as referenced in the Modernized Appliance Efficiency Database System (MAEDBS) for 2019 JA8 High Efficacy Lighting. Additionally, they are ENERGY STAR® certified, as verified in the "Certified Light Fixtures" database.

These Halo LTDM4 Selectable Series Downlights are complete 4-inch canless recessed lights, designed for use in new construction, remodel, and retrofit installation, without the need for a housing or junction box. The unique selectable feature allows users to choose the desired color temperature, ranging from 3000K to 5000K, directly on the fixture, prior to installation in the ceiling.

Suitable for wet locations, these fixtures can be used in showers and protected ceilings, as well as in outdoor areas like covered porches, gazebos, outdoor walkways, and indoor dining areas.
