Product Description
A doorbell system consists of 4 parts – a doorbell chime, a push button, a transformer, and the wiring, which are all connected together (see the wiring diagrams below). If there is an issue with the chime, the chime may or may not be the problem. See the "Troubleshooting" section for common issues and troubleshooting tips.
Doorbell Chime Wiring Diagrams
TWO SOUNDS: The doorbell chime produces a classic two-note "Ding Dong" sound for the front door button and an additional "Dong" sound for the rear or side door.
DIMENSIONS: The cover measures 9" W x 5" L, and the base measures 7-1/8" W x 4-5/8" L.
COMPATIBILITY: Use with a 16-volt/10 VA or 16-volt/15 VA transformer (not included) when connecting to a regular doorbell. Search "16TR" or "3TRAN" for a compatible transformer.
QUALITY: The doorbell chime maintains a smooth white modern finish and a vented cover to allow the sound to carry better. It is easy to install to your doorbell button and doorbell transformer.
Please note: This item does not include the doorbell button or the transformer. Search "CKIT2" for a door chime, transformer, and door button set.
