A doorbell system consists of four essential components: a doorbell chime, a push button, a transformer, and the connecting wiring. However, if you are experiencing issues with the chime, the problem may not necessarily lie with the chime itself.
The doorbell chime offers a classic two-note "Ding Dong" sound for the front door button, and an additional "Dong" for the rear or side door. It measures 8.25" L x 5.5" W for the cover, and 6.63" L x 4.75" W for the base.
To ensure compatibility, the chime should be used with a 16-volt/10 VA or 16-volt/15 VA transformer (not included). You can search for "16TR" or "3TRAN" to find a compatible transformer.
The doorbell chime boasts a textured white modern finish and is easy to install, connecting to your doorbell button and transformer. It is backed by a 2-year limited warranty.
Please note that while some customers have reported the chime working with video doorbells such as Ring, we cannot guarantee its compatibility. Additionally, if the chime is not functioning properly, the issue may lie with the doorbell button, transformer, or wiring, rather than the chime itself.
